I am looking at some 17x8 rims and i wanted to get some tires. I am looking at the Falken Atenzis RS 245 45R17. I want my tires to be nice and wide ( these are 8" ), but will these fit on my '01 GT-S and look good? Thanks for any help.

When you're turning the will rub against the wheel wells. I wouldn't go any wider than a 225.

ahhh, ok, thanks, then should i just go ahead and get some 17x7 wheels instead of the 17x8 i was going to get?

i would stay with the 17 x 8's. just get like a 225/45 or a 225/40 in the nitto nt555 (since they are the only ones that make a 225/40 17) and you will be fine.
