I knew that I was having a problem with my lift but was unsure so I took it out to test today. I went over 6k five time today. I'm for sure that my lift is not working. Whenever I go over 6k, I can feel the lose of power. It feels like the engine is having a hard time over 6k like its hesitating to speed up. I tried this on 1st and 2nd gear. No lift at all. Its just really loud whenever I go over 6k. My car only 1886 miles in it. I've hit lift on it before so I know how lift feels like. You feel a little jerk when you hit it but now I can't feel anything. This really sucks. What should I do? Any inputs would be really helpful. Thanks

I just fixed my car today, there are two sensors on the head that control the vvtl-i. Toyota knows nothing about these cars, my dad is a mechanic and we had this figured out in no time. I replaced the sensors today, and also put in a TRD clutch, and now my car runs like a champ. I still have the parts numbers for these sensors if you would like to have them.

Took my car to the dealer yesterday to have it checked. It turns out that the lift in my car is working fine, it's just I couldn't feel it as much now as I used to before. I think I just got used to it :) Oh yeah, I also noticed that the harder you step on the accelerator tryin to get into lift, the more you'll feel your car go into lift. Thanks everyone
