planning on putting my ps2 on my celi

is it a good idea? My school is in the valley. It gets pretty hot...
it cant be good to leave ps2 in the car on a hot summer day.

As long as it isn't in direct sunlight, it should be OK. I have a computer installed in the hatch and summer didn't affect it.

Where do you plan on putting the PS2 (besides the trunk)? I couldnt find any suitable place to put it. I even had it so it was basically behind the glove box, but could still be seen a bit. But, I eventually decided it wasnt worth all the trouble. I didnt want it in the trunk, because i didnt want to have to run to the trunk everytime i wanted to change a game.

I am working on redoing my car and am going to rebuild my trunk this summer with a false floor building everything into while I was thinking of how I should do all that I was thinking of where to put my ps2 when I get the screens I am thinking it could go under the dash in the passenger footwell, you could probably make sometype of mounting braket to hold it up so it can only be seen if you know where it is. but I'm still playing with the idea its the best I have comeup with besides cutting a hole in the glove box to make it fit.

I tried that. It sorta works. Its going to be angled down. And the loading tray wont be able to open all the way, but it will be enough to put in, and take out discs. Its pretty much impossible to mount it any other way under the dash.If you think of some other way (besides the trunk, or cutting your glove compartment) let me know because I may do the same.
