View Full Version : GT runs a 14.786 @ 93.425 mph

Sorry all. I guess I'm beginning to sound like a broken record... no pun intended. :)

Where: Capitol Raceway
When: Today
Temp: 50s?

Not the best weather today but got some nice runs anyway. Here's a rundown of the slip:

60: 2.2308
330: 6.2342
1/8: 9.5235
1000: 12.3492
ET 14.7865
mph: 93.4253

Oh yeah, one more thing. Last run of the night I do this: 1.6029 60 foot. I bang 3rd gear and **** the whole run up... ran a 15.5. I still don't understand how it is possible.. on street tires. But I have the slip and I'm looking at it.

1.6 60' foot, must've been a mistake somewhere. WRX's don't get that with good power mods. 1.7's maybe for the AWD WRX, no way in absolute hell you are getting that unless you are Christian Rado.

Anyway, damn, diggity, damn. Did you take a ****, jerk off, cut your nails, and shave your head before this run to get the last ounce of weight out of the car?
Lastly, don't quote that ridiculous 60' time. You know it is not possible. What did you run against during that run?

Never! He doesn't even take it! When I cut the 1.6 60 foot the other lane was a turbo Mazda RX7.. 2nd gen. He cut a ridiculous 3.5 60 foot and ran a 17 something. I don't know what his problem was.

So which track is better, Capitol or Cecil?
Just take your dad's keys and speed off, it's not like he could run after you and catch you :D

Cecil is lower elevation. It's better there. I'm going to go there and break the record again next Friday.

The 1.6 is definitely some kind of anomaly. It would mean a 0-60 time of about 3 seconds :P Kaioshin took a picture of it today. It should be up on the boards tomorrow. Nonetheless, it's funny as hell. I should brag about it and when people ask for proof I'll be like BAM and whip out the slip. :)

For those that were wondering that was a 2nd gen Eclipse GSX that I kicked the crap out of in that race :) After the race the guy came up to me and shook my hand lol. He was like dayam what's under the hood.

Umm.. A 1.6 60' time? That sounds like there was a glitch at the track. There is NO way that you could have pulled a 1.6 60' time with your car. Even if you were able to dump your clutch at redline and hook, the car still would not pull a 1.6 60' time.

We have a car that runs 11.0's and it is pulling 1.62 60' times (on slicks with about 600 - 650hp).

Good job on your 14 second passes though! I would like to know what mods you have done and do you gut your car when you race?

the fact that you got a 1.6 60' time proves the track is messed up i think. i have seen fast rexes hitting 1.7.

the 1.6 was a glitch but the 14s were not.. he explained that already..
