gold from chrome

Is there anyway to take chrome rimes and make them gold, not painting them either. I seen a cb gt-s with gold rims and it looked awesome!

i say just buy some gold ones...there are so many nice ones out there...Advans, Volks, Works, and the list goes on...

I emailed a in VB and his response was:

"I don't think that is a good idea. Wheel chrome is tough and should be entirely removed before powder will stick like it should. Sandblasting alone would be cost prohibitive. I suggest you buy a set of anodized gold rims. I think you will be happier in the long run and save some $ too...
