My GT-S is making a very loud noise at idle. I can hear the valve clicking noise. How do I go about fixing this problem? My car has 35K miles on it.

Good chance it is the belt tensioner. As for repair? That's what a warranty is for, get it to the shop before the warranty expires.

Thank you for the information. I will take it to the dealer and get it fix. Before I bought the vehicle, the dealer already checked it and they said that there was nothing wrong with it. This loud valve clicking sound is only occur on old cars. I don't know why it happenned on mine. I will take your advice and take it to another Toyota dealer.

If it's the belt tensioner, it wouldn't be just an idle problem. My tensioner is made right now and makes the rock tumbler noise all the time.
Valve clicking noise is normal at idle for the engine....but usually you can only hear it when you are under the hood.
But......like Scott said....you have 1k of free work left, might as well have them check it out.

i have an AEM Pulley on there...don't suppose they'll still cover it under warranty since odds are the pulley didn't cause it?

Take it in. Unless they can prove that the pulley (or the installation of the pulley) caused the problem, they have to fix it.
