maf= mass airflow sensor

it's located near your stock airbox ... it's a square-shaped plastic plate which has two screws holding it into place ...

Also if you don't know much about an engine and its parts i wouldn't recommend getting a turbo. Turbo's cost money to maintain and to assure everything is working correctly, moreso then a n/a engine. So i would learn as much as you could about the car and keeping a turbo maintained before you go off and buy a turbo.

If you want turbo help, talk to marc. He is a member here that is obsessed with forced induction. As for the sensor, make sure you use the correct cleaner--you really don't want to be buying a new MAF. There are several threads on that topic on this site.

I think its non-chlorinated Brake Cleaner. Thats what i used for mine and it worked perfectly.
