I seem to have a little dilemma. (Well not really, but who cares.) I was trying to get a more uniform look with my headlights and sidemarkers, etc. Well, I thought that getting the same temperature bulbs all around (headlights included) would be enough. It seems that my wedge bulbs give off a more "blue-ish" light, where as the low beam and the high beam give off just a "super white" light (not bad actually IMO). I'd think to change the low and high beams, but I don't know what temps to look at. The bulbs are PIAA Xtreme White. Any help would be appreciated.

LOL, don't even bother with the advertised color temps. They're never right on colored bulbs. More of an advertising gimmick , trying to copy off of HIDs. You're better off just getting the same color bulbs from the same brand. They'd be as close as you could get to matching colors.

Well, you could give Polarg BiHybrid wedge bulbs a try. I had them before, and they were very white with a hint of blue. It's very hard to exactly match halogens with regular bulbs because of the difference in brightness. It takes a lot of blue tint to turn the normal yellow light of the wedge bulbs into white.

Thx for the information, but if you remember I said that my wedge bulbs were the ones giving off the blue light. I was wondering if there is anything I could do about the high and low beam. Again, thanks for your help.

Yup, that's why I suggested Polarg. They're basically white with a slight bit of blue, but they certainly wouldn't be considered blue. If your headlights are white with a bit of yellow, Philips Blue Vision wedge bulbs will match well.

How about the headlights? Do you know any alternative bulbs to make a more matching blue? I really like the blue-ish light the wedges are giving, but if there is none, then I'll go with alternative you guys have provided. Thanks again!

Well, the problem with getting bluer headlights is that you won't be able to see jack at night. The deeper the blue, the darker the tint on the bulb needs to be, and the tint blocks out the brightness of the bulb. I had a pair of Hyper bulbs, and the first time I drove the car with them installed, I had to turn around cause it was just too dangerous to drive with them.

if you want something truly more white, you have to go with hids
also remember anything that has a blue tint at night time you will hardly be able to see, since blue is absorbed into the ground, cutting your visibility greatly.
When I had my celica, I went with the xenon vision hids headlights, piaa superwhite high beams, and the piaa xtreme, which were more blue so it added so nice color and character to the car, I would also strongly recommended HIDS, they look nice, and they are a great safety enhancement.
Now with my Audi A4, I scared to do anything. There is sensors everywhere, and I heard there are a bunch of DTC senors on the car, so I am scared to do anything to that car since there are sensors everywhere

DTC is just another word for CEL. ;) Your car is as easily moddable as a Celica.
