I bought this car as my daily driver. But you know us car guys. Even our daily drivers have some sort of performance mod above stock on it. So im looking around to see whats out there and what the car is capable of. It seems pepy but falls on its face up top. I never intend this to be my street racer or track car. Just a nice daily driver with a little extra pep with the help of a few small mods.

I dont have a picture of my celica yet lol. This is the only one I have right now of my TA. I have a bunch more archived somewhere but that will take some digging around. This car has the basic boltons and suspension. Big plans are ahead and thats one reason I have the Celica as my daily driver. :)

There are a few F-Body owners on the board. I'm not sure how many still post though.

Wish your T/A had the same interior accomodations as your mere daily driver yet? :)

Naaaa, I like my Celica. Its alot more comfortable to drive around on the street. The only think I miss is the extra power to hurt some feelings. Saw a few mustangs today that I would have normally played with that I stayed away from in the Celica. I miss the power and the intimidation factor of the TA.

Yep it does have a loudmouth. Here is the link to the mods done.
Did not think the celica guys would want to know anything about my TA lol.

I do too, though I have mixed feeling about my 91 T-A. As fun as it was, I had to replace nearly every mechanical piece on the car. My 91 Firebird was a dream I sorely miss though :wtc:

Nope, BFG Drag Radials. If I put slicks on the car Im affraid the weak 10 bolt rear end wound break like a match stick.

The secret is in the suspension :). I was running a lowest of a 1.84 60ft on stock suspension. I think there is more in the 60ft also. I ran that on only 4 passes with the new setup. Consistant low 1.7xx 60's the first 2 passes and then two high 1.6xx 60's on the last 2 passes. Im only limited by my rear end. If I had a 12 bolt rear end im sure I could manage a high 1.4xx.

That is a sweet 60 ft. Most WRX/.STi only manage 1.7-1.8 after much practice... I am impressed

I dont know why I have the slp thing still on the front. I only have the slp lt headers, ls6 intake and loudmouth exhaust. Everything else is suspension and a 3500 stall converter.

Dang your T/A is even an automatic. Wow, I am impressed. However, from my experiences at the track some of the autos ran faster stock for stock than the 6 speeds. Some of them ran slower but in any case the automatics usually ran around the same times as the manuals which I find amazing.
