Saw an actual race celica actually racing today...

So yeah, I went to an autox today at New Hampshire International Speedway (the autox wasn't on the track is was in the parking lot, but none the less fun). During my free time I drove myself into the infield of the actual track to see what was happening (I could hear that something was going on). What else do I find but a Road Race with an S2000, RX-8, two Minis a few Neons, Civics, an Integra, Camaro and Celica (celica was sporting full TRD graphics and was driving pretty darned well, there was also an MR-2 who wasn't driving so well). I looked for more info on the race on the NHIS site and the NER site, but found nothing *shrug*
Anyway, it was pretty damned cool and I though you all might gety a kick out of it ;)

No, and it wasn't autoxing, it was on the race track, which at NHIS is an oval that has a section to the side that they open up for cars like these that don't just want to floor it and turn left. This was a celica fully setup for road race courses.

Didn't have plates man, you could tell that this car went to and from the races on a trailer.

I heard that the Toyota Celebrity Grand Prix went down recently. It was on the speed channel yesterday. All Celica GTS's.

Check the General Discussion forum for dates on when it will air next. ;)

Yeah! The celica I saw was a GTS and looked EXACTLY like the ones you see in the CGP. :drool:
