I thought I was getting an authentic Trial kit. It is still bubble wrapped and in the box.

There seems to be some bodywork required before the kit can be painted and installed. I dont wanna get into that typa stuff so I'd like to sell it and get the authentic Trial from Scott.

I would like to get rid of this ASAP to get back some cash.

authentic Trial is FRP
ive never seen FRP so i cant confirm what it is sorry
i paid 21% duty on it since im from Canada, plus brokerage fee, plus warehouse fee
so im kinda at a big loss

from the pics the kit doesnt look that bad!! The front bumper looks good! nothing a bit of bondo cant fix!! I've repaired OEM bumpers from the salvage yard that took me the whole day just to get them ready for primer!!!!

i think if you gave a set price for the kit you would save yourself alot of trouble and avoid low balls.

everything is all wrapped up; i barely took it out of the box, pissed when i found out i got ripped off and lied to

i only tried the front bumper on the car, seemed to fit pretty snug
i didnt screw anything on though

well ive had the kit stored since march
i actually thought id be able to get a reimbursed form the guy, he said he would and yada yada he just disappeared

I would love to buy the front. But I am really skeptical about the quality. I am afraid it would crack in half if it touched a snail. If I had some sort of assurance that it was made of reasonable quality, I would seriously buy it.

just some info for all potential buyers. i also was conned into buying one of these replica trial kits and i sold mine in favor of the real thing just like Diesel Dud.

Well the guy that bought the replica has installed it and had no problems fitting the kit at all, it actually fit pretty well. probably just as good as most replica kits out there, maybe even a little better so don't think you are buying a piece of crap just because it's a replica, it's actually not too bad.

The authentic Trial Kits are made of FRP which is the same thing you have in your posession. FRP is just a technical name for Fiberglass. I am a body repair guy, are you for sure that that is not authentic, because it looks to be very good quality. Because the kit I bought for my car looked like a first grade art project made of paper mache.
