about got car jacked!

welp, on the way to work this morning (3:30am) i came up to a car sitting at a redlight. the light was about to turn green and i rolled up, and was getting ready to shift into first. just as i came to a stop near them, the passager yells out "aye, man", "yo give me a ride", about the time he said "aye man" he's opening the door. i get it in gear and i dump'd the clutch, hit the gas as hard as i could and left tire tread for a good 60ft and then another mark shifting to 2nd. the guy jumps back in the car, and they are trying to play catch up. im shaking and push'n it hard. thing were happening so fast, the next thing i knew i was pushing 120+ in a 45. i whip around a corner and fly over a bridge and take a few more turns. get to work, park the car in a very hard to see place, and i sit behind one of the guy's i work with truck. about 2-3 minutes later i see them pull up to a light, and then turn. i guess they saw the car that was at the light a bit early and they followed it. man i was shaking all the way into work. the weird thing is that part of the road were i was speeding, cops are there every morning i go by, today none... and cop sit in the parking lot of my work... again none. well i call the police station and told them as much as i could remember, minus the speeding. so i hope they can find them. all i really could tell them was it was 2 guy, in a old drop caddy, white and tan in color. man i didnt know what to do, just glad i was able to lost them. check the car a hour later, nothing was touch'd. im taking a new way to work from now on!

That sux.. good thing to do is drive around these areas with your central locking on, least that way they cant open the doors.. you did the right thing though.

Seriously, I had something like that happen to me a few years back in the MR2, scared the living **** outta me cause it came from nowhere.
2 ted bundy lookin rednecks with no shirts hop out of their tore up 280z and start runnin toward my car.. and they looked pissed....I'm like WTF???
I think that is the fastest I've ever gone in that car, maybe it was just the adrenaline that made it seem like it was doing a zillion miles an hour.. but it MOVED. almost ran one of those fockers over too :D

yeah the doors were lock'd, i just had the window down 1/4 of the way down. but he didnt have time to get all the way out of there car, cause as soon as the door open'd, i shot though the intersection, and was gone.

yeah, lift help'd, i think i even felt it in 5th, or it was my heart hitting the back of the seat. but at in cost, i got the he!! outta there!

and yeah, i wish i was able to carry some type of weapon, but by the time everything happen'd, my first thought was, get it in gear, and hit the gas.

Hmm, this reminded of what happened to one of my friends... He was parked in front of a Fred Meyers with his new Integra he just got and this car just stops right in front of him and two guys come out and they said to get out of the car... He was freaking out but the guys partner that said that recognized my friend... They were old elemnetary friend... Lucky him... They said sorry and drove off... But if you hadn't heard, some guys Integra Type R got jacked in front of a whole bunch of night racers here in Washington, more specific where I used to night race (which I don't do anymore).... The night racers met at the usual gas station and the guy with the ITR was there and this guy with a mask and gun told him to give him the keys. This happened a couple weeks ago too... Dunno if anyone posted this though...

oh yea.when i was leaving work one day..i was starting my car and all of a sudden(at night).this ford taurus(robocop style).pulls up kinda fast besides me and gets out..i had my window down like half way..some guy gets out and goes towards my car..and now im thinking $hit im about to get jacked.and he yells out"hey is that a eclipse b/c i wanted to see if these windsheild washer lights would fit b/c my girlfriend just bought a eclipse..and i look at his car and his girlfriend was sitting in there..good thing i was leaving with my co worker he saw what was happening and drove over to help me out..but it was just some dumb ass who was driving around looking for a eclipse..but $hit that scared me
