View Full Version : Made my wheel decision. Let me know what you think.

I've decided to go with these wheels: Here. (http://www.wheelmax.com/Wheels/exel/bk7-silver.htm)

What do you guys think about those? Will they look good on my black stock celica?

Should I get 17's or 18's? What would look better. Keep in mind that I will be adding a bodykit and lowering springs later on if that makes a difference.

With 17's, what tire size is the best and also what tire size with 18's? I want the tires low profile (I think that is what it is called when the tires are very skinny if looking from a side view).

I think those wheels are pretty nice, but that shouldn't really matter, you should do what YOU want.

Id go for 17s just so you have some show and go, and a good tire size for those is 215/40.... thats really close to stock size. If you want a little extra cushion go with 215/45... thats what I run.

They don't have 215/40 on wheelmax, they have 205/40...is that what you meant?

Do you have any pics of your car or wheels?

konig tantrum wanabees, go with 18s, unless you want performance, but if thats the case keep the stock rims

id personally would get a 5 spoke rim, but get what you want.

It's a nice rim, but it's way over played. That rim was played out on the celi before the RH Z5000 style. I would get black rims with a polished lip for a black car, like the ones RJAY has. :)

If you car more about appearance than performance, get 18's. 18's look great with any kit.
