Silver Lining Above Rear Celica Emblem?

Above my "Celica" emblem or whatever in the rear I have this silver lining, does anyone else have this? Can it be removed? I friggin' hate it. I am either going to fill the Celica letters in silver or try and remove the silver lining.

LOL, it's standard on 03 and newer Celicas. I doubt it's possible to remove it and have the part still look good, since there will probably be mounting holes and a gap. You can get the 00-02 version from Partznet for $54 (called license molding), or you can get a CF one. I don't remember who sells it, but you can search for it. I think it's just referred to as a handle.

thats one of the favorite updates I like above the 03+. I cant believe someone wants to get rid of it....*sigh

I like the shape of it, but not the trim. Just doesn't fit in with the rest of the car, since the only real chrome accents on the car are the emblems and the antenna. Everything else is just paint or black plastic trim.

I don't think it looks awful, I just am not crazy about it. I am either going to get an 00-02 license plate molding or fill in my Celica letters silver.

I really would like to get rid of this, or fill in the Celica letters silver. Does anyone know the best way to fill in the Celica letters silver? Aren't there vinyl overlays or something?

try posting in the for sale forum, im sure somebody with the same color celica as you will trade, especially if they have chrome rims

i'll trade but i have liquid silver which wont match any 03+ car
