I installed a new head unit but I don't have any bass. What did I do wrong? It doesn't have any bass at all!
It sounds really clear though. Someone please help me!
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like your speakers may be wired in reverse,
did you add new speakers or use the stock ones?

I used the stock ones. But I think crutchfield gave me the wrong wiring harness adaptor. On the instructions it says its for a toyota truck. But why would they give me the wrong adaptor but the right mounting kit? I followed the wiring diagram exactly.

What about the settings on the new HU? Is the bass turned all the way down on it?

AFAIK there is still no wiring harness for the GT-S. You need to make sure that you really have the right harness. It sounds like you may only be powering some of the speakers in the front.

I think your right. What do I have to do? Should I get new speakers? Making it 4 speakers instead of 8?

its probably that whole amplifier that powers the stock fronts. its not getting a signal anymore. that'd be my guess.

You'll need to splice into the harness that connects the speakers to the stock amp. It's located on the passenger side behind the glovebox. It has a big heatsink on it so you can't miss it. Just check the wiring color codes in the installs section to match up the stock speaker wiring to your head unit.

Yup, no wiring harness for the GTS or the GT with the upgraded sound system. I learned the hard way :) I thought that NO GT's had an amp.
