anothe newbie question

is the c one hoodscoop the same as the mb sport hoodscoop? if different why and which is better? i feel like a real newbie since i dont know this question lol

The difference between the two is that the C-one is the original peice designed by C-One, and the MB scoop is a copy of the C-One. When MB made the scoop they bought a C-One so they could make a mold of it to reproduce it and sell it for less. The only difference between the two is fit and quality. The C-One scoop will fit perfect and last forever, while the MB may have some fitment and quality issues(reproductions are almost always inferior to the original peice). However, it seems like MB has finally gotten their copy correct because I haven't heard of any fitment problems for quite a while now. When it first came out, none of them fit and the color's didn't always match up like they were supposed to.

2000blackdragoncelica, what size wheels/tires and what kind of a drop do you have on your car? I think it looks really good.

the intake is aem cold air....yes i know the bypass doesnt work.....bought it just incase and i feel it should work in that position anyway.

the rims are 18" TEAM LOCO150 in chrome wrapped in yokohama piradas 225/35 on a trd drop srpings.

thanks for the feedback guys....glad you like the car. getting most likely in the week the c one hoodscoop, blue bats headlight overlay and the rmm wing with carbon fiber middle. also getting my center dash painted this week.

Wow thats exactly what im doing to my celi this week. Well .:D except for the scoop.
BTW why do u say ur bypass doesnt work. I have AEM also.

What do you mean your bypass valve doesn't work i have a 2000 gts and I have the exact same set-up and mine works primo!

i didnt say it didnt work its just it was a lot of people saying it didnt. it works enough for me. i dont drive it in the rain anyway so it doesnt bother me. it was a bitch to install though cause of my trd front bumper and trd fogs cause it rubbed so i had to cut the pipe a little. love the intake....if i had cash lying around i buy the injen just to see or feel the difference.
