Hmmm....well first things first. Did you check all your vacuum hoses to make sure they're on tight? If it all looks good and dandy, then let's go to the next step.
How does your car sound when you first start it up in the morning? If it sounds like crap, then this is what I did.
My car would idle up to 1.5k - 2k and I'd here some puttering sounds coming from the intake. Puttering, meaning it sounds like there's not enough fuel coming in. Meaning I was running lean at cold start-ups. So I adjusted my NE Point to 1.5k. I started to increase the airflow at 1.5k till the puttering stopped. Now, you don't want to richen your car up too much. So after each time I added +1 to the airflow, I'd listen to the intake. Until I barely heard anything. Then you'd want to do that at 2k, probably the same amount as 1.5k plus or minus a couple depending on how your car reacts to the settings. Now I wouldn't think that there's any reason going over 4k with the settings, unless you like to go at vvtli range at lo-throttle. So try that, because I know for sure that being on the rich side isn't bad for the car. Bad for fuel yes, but I'd rather run rich than lean. Hope that helps you out.

Thats lame way of getting rid of the cel. if you installed the CAI correctly in the first place, you wouldn't have it anyways

I had a CEL, got an S-AFC and it is gone. Got more power and it is a very good idea to have one with a turbo
