meant subject to be kinda soon!
Im leaving tommorow for the turbo install, and have had a trouble getting correct spark plugs. I was looking for some
NGK-BKR6EY, and the closest i found was BKR6E without the "y" and BKR6E with different letters. I asked for help but the plugs the guys picked out he seemed unsure, so i told him i would be back and went to another auto store, this guys picked up a total different set. I then went to one more place and this guy gives me a differt set WTF! so my question is can anyone give me the same type of plugs i need but made by Bosche, as NGK AND bOSCHe are the 2 main supplers here. Or is there another set of NGK plugs i can use, like the above one i was given first. As you can tell I have no clue when it comes to plug science!
Thanks

Hopefully your Post won't get moved as mine...

If you ask me it's absolutely right here. Try to get some colder ones from Toyota. Same as stock but one step colder.

Where will you have the turbo installed? Gaspar?

Just FYI I have had very bad luck with Bosch plugs, champion plugs and autolite plugs in Toyotas. Denso plugs work best - I reccomend Denso Irridium IK24s

I concur with the Bosch plugs comment. Those are terrible for ANY car!

I personally swear by the NGK coppers.

I just put the IK24's in to replace my NGK's and so far they work very well. I have not taken them to the track yet that'll happen next week but for everyday driving and 6 psi daily boost they are working excellent.
Very hard to get though, I called around for several hours in Los Angeles and no one had them.
I ended up ordering them online from.....you know: http://www.jegs.com

I've been running NGK BKR7E in the Spyder. No detonation and no fouling, so that's a pretty good heat range if you're boosting. The Iridiums will work fine but the coppers are a better value in my opinion. Iridium is more worthwhile if you plan to run 100k miles without changing them.
