After three and a half fun years, it is time to say goodbye to my silver six-speed manual transmission GT-S Celica. At the end of June I will be tossing the keys to the dealership, when I pick up my new ride.

But, if any of my friends at this forum want / need a fine vehicle, then I will let it go for $10,000, which is my trade in value.

Also, if this is purchased through the forum, I will throw in my second set of factory 16" GT-S wheels and trim caps, with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 205/50R16 tires. There should be one more winter season on these, before using them up in the summer.

My summer tires, also on factory 16" GT-S wheels, are Michelin Pilot Sport 205/50R16 tires. These are top notch, with few miles on them.

The vehicle is extra clean and well cared for. The black bra and mirror bras are included. The Toyota floor mats are in new condition.

The vehicle has the sunroof, GT-S fabric, which is MUCH nicer than GT fabric, NO spoiler and no ABS. The vehicle has the mirror compass / temperature display. The vehicle has the factory VIP alarm with two remotes. The "no holes" PanaVise cellular telephone mount is included.

The front plate bracket is not mounted! No holes!

There will be about 100K miles at the end of June when this is turned in to the dealer.

Thanks. That information has been entered.

This vehicle may been seen in either Rhode Island, or in Worcester, MA. (It may also be observed traveling rapidly between these two points.)

Well, they offered $9,000, which in RI is worth $9,630 to me due to the sales tax offset.

With four wheels / tires and the increase in effort for a direct sale versus trade, that amount was rounded to $10,000.

This is probably more appropriate for someone thousands of miles closer.

The dealership has confirmed a July 5 delivery / trade-in date for my new ride.

Curious what is the new ride? I'm in the same boat as you. Will trade in my car if no one buys in by late August (time of delivery of my new ride)

The dealer confirmed we are still on target for July 5.

So, if anyone wants a fine machine, for lots less than the dealership will sell it for, then contact me.

This ride is unique. I have never seen a GT-S without a spoiler.

There are no door dings, due to an obsessive parking regimen.

Well, almost gone. So if there are any takers for this fine machine, the time to act is now. I plan on tossing the keys to the dealership in two weeks.

Then it will still be available, but it will cost several thousand more.

Damn, I wish I knew about that before I picked up my BMW. The insurance on it is too much (I'm 20), and I've been looking everywhere for a GT-S. I am in Rhode Island, but I won't be able to get rid of the bmw in time.

The dealership has told me that my new ride will be here on the 20th, so there are a couple of days left for someone to get my unique 2001 GT-S.
