Just got a used GTS and have some questions.

I don't know if this is normal behavior for the car, since I didn't get it new (and it didn't have the users manual) but maybe you guys do:

- Is it normal for it to automatically do engine braking? When I am going down a hill in 4th (it's an automatic, unfortunately) and step on the brake, the car will downshift into 3rd. I figure this in intentional.

- How soon should I switch to synthetic motor oil? I just gave it its first change (with regular oil).

I got mine new and it automatically downshifts like that.....u can switch to synthetic at anytime......

do synthetic Blend first though....then synthetic on the next oil change...

Why?

Just dump the synthetic in it whenever you want, so long as milage is over 3000.

yeah, well I didnt know about the miles having to be over 3k, but I knew that you can dump synthetic at anytime regardless if your last one was with regular or blend.....
