I've only been here for about a day, and I'm still not recovered from the Jet Lag. My RX7 should be here by July, so I'm just using an old 93' Corolla to get around thanks to my brother-in-law's hospitality. :D

I love the weather...it's so much better than dreary ol' England, although England does have alotta good points, it just rains too much...like Washington. :wtc:

Anyways, I still have to in-process to the base, get my retirement all straightened out, get my disability and social security running, plus my wife has gotta get a job, find a house, etc...and then I'll be hitting the tracks and the local meets pronto. I'm very excited to be here, and from what I've seen on this forum, I can't wait to meet everyone, because you all sound like great people.

I really want to get my life back in full swing now, and I can't wait to get to know everyone.

Clint, Sean....and the rest of the gang, I'll be sure to say hello as soon as I get a few things straightened out!

Thanks, man...by the way...anyone know of a good rotary shop? I think I've got a bad sensor or a vacum tube lose, and I'd like to get a rotary compression test to check my second rotor out. :wtc:

Anyways...gah...I can't wait to hit the track...I'm drooling in anticipation! I'm going to try and stop by Monkeywurks maybe, today or sometime during the week to introduce my self.

Lataz, all....

Sorry can't help you about the rotary shop. I don't know if any are still around anymore here.

There's no real rotary shop anymore. Probably the most knowledgable person on this island with rotarys is Wendel. I never met the guy but a friend of mine knows him pretty well.

Wow Mike! Glad to see you finally made it here safe and sound! :)

Sean told me you dropped by the shop today to say hello! Hope to see you when I'm around! And don't forget to come out to our cruise next month (sticky at top!).

As for rotary, since KMA Racing went down the tubes I haven't heard of another rotary performance shop here in the islands... BUT Travis Higa of Hypersports Racing owns the white one you've seen on Racesauce... he might be able to help you out. ;)

Yepz, Sean pointed me in a good direction, I just wanted someone with some good experience that would know something when it's staring them in the face. The FC is a bit different from the FD, and the FD's main problem is it's sequential turbo system. Once I get rid of that and go non-sequential my sensor and vacum hose worries will be over.

I'll have to wait till the RX7 gets here though before that happens.

It was great to meet Sean, and see his kickazz 86. The garage looks great, and the interior shop looked pretty clean. Of course, it was kinda weird just dropping in outta the blue, and going "HEY SEAN, I'm MIKE...", and my wife said she had this feeling that I was giving him the idea that I was about to bite into his neck for some bloodsucking (showin' the teeth too much) but I guess that's what repeat viewings are for. :chuckles:

I'll drop by again Friday most likely around 5 or so this week...I really won't feel like I'm in the swing of things until I have my own ride here, but it'd be great to see everyones cars and do some meet and greet. Thanks for the welcome everyone, and see you all soon.

Cool. Can't wait...I've had alotta fun hanging out with some of the FEW friends I still have over her from way back when, the past few days. I also got lost on the way to Liliha to puck up my wife from her work...I missed the Houghtailing exit...cuz she didn't tell me to take it. :wtf: Gah...wtf...I got lost in Hawaii? :wtc:

One question...is that sig from a Marines commercial? :gap:

No, it's from Children of Dune. Leto has absorbed the sand trout and is about to face an Arrakis sand storm.:D

How was that TV-Movie-Series? I was looking at it the other day, and thought about picking it up....cuz I loved the original DUNE.

Are you talking about the one with Sting? I thought it was okay but too incomplete.
Go to SciFi.com and check out the Dune and COD miniseries. I liked both of them and the fighting was always very well choreographed. Plus, Barbara Kodetova is a BABE.
