Thanks to any people who showed up to the meet at Tyson's II!
It was a great meet and I'm sorry for those who missed it. We needed more Celicas!
Overview:
180-200 cars showed,
everything was there... Supras, Turbo MR2's, BMW, VW, Honda, Acura, turbo this... nitrous that...
Great atmosphere too, no security trouble either. People were on their best behaviour.
We'll be setting another meet for the Mid Atlantic Region in a few months. The whole point of Saturdays meet was to get all of the MD DC VA clubs together for some chill time and I'm happy it all worked out soo well.
I did not have any flyers of my own to give out but what that meet was about was:
"Mid-Atlantic Import Car Coalition"
It's a loosely affiliated group that represents all of the Mid-Atlantic car clubs. It does not specifically sponsor just one group and is not formed to take the place of any local clubs but creates an atmosphere where all club types can get together to build as a community.
Right now I'm looking for parks or fairgrounds that we'd be able to officially rent of attain permits for a large area to be set aside, probably in May.
