2003 Rear Panel / License Moldings w/ Chrome Trim

I'm looking to purchase the 2003 rear panel which is outlined with a chrome trim. I have a 2001 Celica and was just wondering if the panels aka licence moldings were interchangeable. The parts manager at Toyota was unsure...

it would have to be. its the same body just different piece on it.

Thanks for the response. That's what I thought too but the guy at Toyota said the code # for the actual gate it connects to on the body is also a different #, meaning it changed somehow, and therefore might not fit. Anyone know for sure that has interchanged their rear panels?
