solution to Veilside Bumper/ License plate

Ok after not wanting to drill into my new bumper; and getting pulled over twice in one week for having my plate in the front bumper i decided to come up with a solution.
so to the home depot i went.

nice idea:thumbup: I remember with my eclipse when i first got my body kit i just kept the license plate in the front window. I got killed by the cops for it, I think I got pulled over 3 times in one week so I just wired it to the mesh in the front. Im so happy I am living in phoenix for 3 years cause i just took the plates off, they will never know, hehe

Nice job! ...but can you legally drill holes in the license plate like you did? I actually just sucked it up and put the holes in my front bumper. If I ever move outta state I'll just get a body shop to fill 'em in... :)

BTW, authentic or replica?

its 3/4 authentic..haha...just the rear is a replica.

You might as well had put another one of those holders you made so you can use the existing holes of the license plate, so you basically had two of those L shape metal things holding the plate.

thats how i have mine on... 2 L-brackets with rubber grommets and such mounted to the underside of the front lip, holes matching the plate...
