My amp has been cutting in and out lately and all the wires in the amp are secure so i wanna look behind the head unit. How many and where are all the screws i need to take out to get this done? Thanks.

Hey Oldster either you linked him up wrong or you're playing a pretty funny (dont ask questions that have been answered) joke on him.

pretty simple.
1. unscrew shift knob
2. lift up with both hands around the shift knob where the shift boot connects to the plastic and put this piece to the side (it will be connected with wires going to the cig lighter.)
3. Take out all the A/C control knobs.
4. You will see a total of 4 screws: two under the big A/C knobs, and two where that first piece was covering. Unscrew these screws.
5. The center console should pop up now with a little force. Make sure to disconnect the clock if you're planning to remove the center console piece to paint or whatever.

Actually I just screwed up, wasn't intended to be a joke. Based on the previous description of how to remove it I obviously don't even know what the center console is, that description sounds like the center dash to me? The link I attempted was the install section dealing with the SS. Oh well, senility takes it's toll. :)
