Well i wanna know what you guys think, If I had the Weapon-R ECU assuming it works, and a level Ten toque converter to you think i could run low 15s 1/4?
heres why I think i could
The ECU would let me shift to 8500 so I should be dropping 300 under lift.
The ECU would give me 15-20 HP so I would be close to 6-speed WHP.
The Level TEN toque conveter will let me power brake to 3500, therefore giving me a ablity to launch.
Also it make it land about 200 more closer to lift, so i would be pretty close to lift after my shifts.
Just my 2 cents, what do you think?
Also don't say "why didn't you just get an stick in the frist place you moron?"
why beacuse i bought my car used and my parents won't let me trade it in for a stick. Also i'm 17 so i'm quite happy with my Celica AUTO or not.

hey...i have an Auto GT-S too...sounds like an idea. even though it might not make you faster than a GT-S...you'll gain power and speed no matter what.
p.s. - i was seventeen when i got my car too...and they won't let me get stick cuz all the racing accidents out here in so cal. and i'm also lucky i got a car AUTO or not. i feel ya snoopy.

level 10 torque convert
direct port nitrous
i/e
and maybe drag radials
zooq ran this setup and i can't remember if he ran 14.6 or 14.9 in his auto gts.
edit: forgot to add the ecu should help some and lightweight smalls wheels for you radials would be helpful too, then there is free mods, the back seats spare tire and sound deadening material are all dead weight at the track you can take them out and with the exceptoin of sound deading material they can be put back in, even if you don't take the sd material out before you head to the track make sure you pull the others out.

i dont see it happening.. first off we are being really optimistic in that the Weapon R ECU is going to do anything ad if it does givign you 15-25hp isnt gonna happen.. especially wheel hp :)
Im not saying this to be mean.. but if you want to go fast you need a manul in the Celica.. the auto's just arent meant to go fast without ALOT of work like tranny work and forced induction to keep up with the manuals..

I went to San Francisco to visit Weapon R 2 weeks ago. I was just curious on how the weapon r ecu looks like, but when I asked one of their engineers named Mike, he showed it to me and asked me if I wanted to test it. I was surprised when all of a sudden he told me that he needs to cut the wires on my stock ecu so that they could copy the socket and they said they will pay for the warranty if Toyota will void the warranty. Phuck that, I didn't let them touch my baby.
I was hoping Weapon R would bounce back as a good after market for the Celica after the crappy thing they did on their intake but I guess they still do crappy work.
I guess everybody is right. Weapon R, Thanks but no Thanks

Why would that be bad? Cause I cut wires to connect a headunit. It works fine. As long as the wires are connected to the right wires and and secured with enough wire left to reconnect the wire back on. I hope it doesnt do anything! Also when you said they were going to copy the socket does that mean they could make a new wiring harness for the ecu? That would make it completely plug and play right? I think that sounds right, who knows?

yeah i figured youd have to cut wires.. you pretty much have to do that with any electrical mod..
