I was at my local speed shop today and the guy there, whom I

our intake cam is also varible in the fact that it can change the timing of the intake cam in relation to the exhaust cam so if you make the lift kick in too early it is possible to hit the piston and bend a valve(considering our 11.5:1 compression). But you might be able to make it hit lift 100-200 rpm earlyer and still be safe but I dont know. I dont know how to do the math for it either. maby some on else?.......
