I am a little confused on the printout I got after the alignment. Below is the readout. Is it normal for the R/L to be so different, specifically the camber? As far as the car goes I measured the height from the top of the fender to the ground and they match. Yeah, I know rear is too low! Needs rear camber kit! Is there anyone else besides hotchkis that sells them?

Wow. What's the drop that you did?

Anyone have an answer to this? Also what would be a ideal setting for auto-x and another for the streets?

AutoX settings

Front Camber = -2.0 degrees
Front Toe = a little out

Rear Camber = -1.3 degrees
Rear Toe = Driver dependant anywhere from 1/8" in to 1/8" out.

Prefectly normal to see differences between left and right, *after* the alignment they should be the same. (except front caster which isn't adjustable).

Ideal for autocross?

Hard to say, probably -1.8 to -2.0 front camber with zero toe.

-1.2 to -1.3 rear camber with zero toe or a little bit of toe in.

I run those settings on the street as well, get about 30,000 miles out of a set of tires (most of the time I put 30-40 autocross runs on the tires too).

Thanks. I got the alignment just after putting on the skunk2/koni's just in case it was way off or anything. I plan on adjusting the coilovers a bit to raise the rear a bit. When I go into get another alignment I will ask them to set camber & toe to something close to what you guys mentioned above. I plan on doing some auto-x just, not hard core or anything.

I have the same sorta issues with camber/castor in the rear. I have the Hotchkis links but am really lazy. I might adjust them close to where I want it before I take it to get aligned. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find another camber kit besides the Hotchkis one.

you don't have caster in the rear

I wouldn't bother trying to eyeball the camber...just get the car on an alignment rack and get it done right. Just as important (if not more) to have the right toe setting as well.

I put in skunk2's and koni yellows. On 17" wheels the top of the wheel well/fender stood 26.5" I droped it to 25" but that seems too much at this point! All the reading I have done about dropping and not going too far, to avoid camber issues has proven irrelivent it seems... I have taken everything back up to 25.25" and it still seems like it will barely make alignment specs.

I've been playing with the Koni's adjustments and it is just awesome! Adjusting the ride from firm to smooth. Even with the drop I think I can get a better ride out of it then stock! Makes me very glad I got koni's witht eh spring rate the skunk2's have. Just have to get it set right. Damn thing looks so rice right now doing the -2.5deg splitz!1

Keep in mind Koni S/A's (yellow) only adjust "rebound"

Rebound is basically the amount of time it takes the damper to return to the static ride height. Turn them to full firm and while driving the car will "jack down" and seam much stiffer, yet the actual "compression" rate never gets firmer.

KYB's adjust both compression and rebound with one adjuster, in other words one click makes them stiffer on compression and rebound. This is NOT a good thing for suspension tuning.

I run Custom Koni DA's (double adjustables) they provide separate adjusters for both compression (bump) and rebound. When turned to full stiff plan in visiting the dentist often.

lol.... I had my Koni's sport (none custom :) set to full firm while testing it out. My GF who is a somewhat busty girl didn't like it :) I got a kick out of it... Ride was way to firm, hopped over everything!

Suspenssion is some pretty crazy stuff once you get into it. I thought I dug but looks like a barely scratched the surface!
