I heard liquid moving sound from the back of my car... anyone know what this is??? it's everytime I accelerate from still... but it might be there too but just can't hear it when I'm moving... I was thinking that it's the sound from the gas tank, but being more and more skeptical now... Help Plz!!

does it sound like your car is drinking something?
if so, you may need to top off your coolant

but coolant sounds more like it comes from the center dash area up front (does on my car) - not the back

check the coolant level anyway.

Bingo!! That's the sound I have. Usually happens to me when the car first starts up and after a long stoplight.

sometimes it doesnt mean yuor coolant is low though.. it means you have air bubbles in your coolant lines.

you probably have air bubbles trapped in your heater core.. try burping the system

Now, is this sound related in any way to the throttle? The sound only happens when I rev the engine up a bit, doesn't take much. Is this still the coolant? The sound is in the same place, behind the center dash, and is kinda non-reproduceable, just happens when it happens, but it is in response to reving the engine.

I used to get this too. I think its just those air bubbles you guys were sayin before. All you gotta do to fix this is:

Do this when the car is cold.

1. Take out passenger side engine plastic.
2. You will then see the coolant resevoir.
3. Unscrew the cap in the tank.
4. Uncrew this plug looking thing to the right and down from where the cap is.
5. That will remove all the air from the system.
6. Screw the plug back in first then the cap.
7. Tada all done.

It worked for me.

I felt the pressure when I opened it, but anyway, I just top it off with another coolant... how you flush coolant anyway?
