I have mine set at 3 up front and 3 in back now. I was thinking of trying 3 up front and 4 in back like you have it but I was thinking that might be a little too stiff for the back and cause hopping when going around a bumpy curve. Have you tried 2 up front and 3 in back? Although I think that might be too soft in front, maybe not. Or have you tried 3 up front and 3 in back, but less air in the front tires, more air in the rear tires?

How do I adjust the settings on my kyb agxs? And please dont just tell me w/ the little tool. When I looked at mine I didnt see any numbers so how do I know what setting I'm putting it on. If anyone can put some detailed instructions up I'd appriciate it

omg you dont see any numbers?!!! It's rare to receive a set without the knobs. In your case, you should contact your shipper or kyb to get a new set of knobs and glue them in there.

Either you forgot to install the knob on your KYB's (which means you will have to drop your rear struts again to install them) or you bought GR2's by mistake.

I know they're not gr2s, they came w/ the agx box, agx stickers, and they are the orange. I thought it was weird that they didnt have an adjustable dial.

Are they really orange, or are you just colorblind? ;) AGXs are definitely red, and have noticeable numbers on top of the front struts.

I'm just really retarted, I found the dials on em. I was just lookin in the wrong places. Now is 1 the stiffest or the softest? And what are the best settings for the drag strip?

Yup
I had 3 in front and I noticed the turning has better response than 2.

so to ask again, but what is the best setting for the nicest ride possible? Ihave tanabe super downs which is a 2.5 drop, but many people use this combo. I want to have stock ride or even better. Thanks..i'm goign to set it then install it so i dont' have to later.

^^ most installers don't recommend changing the setting before the shocks r installed or while the car's up on a jack. i dunno y though sumthin to do w/ the comression after the car settles down.

BTW, i have really rough roads...will any of these settings make it too soft and my bumper hitting the ground?

The idea is that the shocks need time to break in. From the factory the shocks are set at a predetermined dampening rate to break them in well. If you set them to a different level (most likely a higher rate) you might risk damaging them.

ur rims are 18? or 17 inch? either way, u should drive w/ care..and w/ a drop that low, it's not gonna be very nice to your bumper. i'd keep it stiff just to play it safe.

I just changed my settings from 1/1 to 3/3. Definitely a tighter and more stable feel whilst turning. Reason I had it on 1/1 was because I did a lot of long distance driving and didn't want too harsh of a ride. BTW I have a Hotchkis Comp sway bar, but stock front sway.

Hey everyone,
I have a quick question about the agx's. I was at their site and their online catalog says that they carry the agx for a 2003 gts. I emailed one of their reps to see where I could get them and he said that they don't carry the agx for a 2003 gts, just the gr-2. I tried emailing him again and he hasn't answered back. Does anybody here have a setup on a 2003+ gts? And if you do where did you get yours from? Thanks!

I have the Tokico HPs, do you think if I switch to the KYB AGX it will be fine? Is the KYB AGX firm enough and can hold up 100% to the tein 1.4" drop?

I have the Tokico HPs with my Tein Stechs and the suspension sucks. After just 6 mos installed bought from brand new, its bouncy as hell. Do you think if I switch to the KYB AGX it will be fine? I want a firm ride without that boaty, floaty feeling. Is the KYB AGX firm enough and can hold up 100% to the tein 1.4" drop?

that's the set up i have and i like it. it's stiff but nothing that isn't unbearable, i have them set up at 3 in front and 4 in back
