Both passengers walked away from that crash. Though, this is a textbook example of why you don't break while cornering.

yea, this was posted a few weeks ago along with a link to a news website. it showed the aftermath. it was flipped upside down and the owners were standing around it.

I don't see a crash, I just hear OH **** and the camera goes sideways and you hear some chick go oh my god... but they are still on the ground, they didn't flip ... uhhh ...

bhuahahahaha
Thats EXACTLY what happend to us. I was in my cousins S2000 ( he was driving), and he breaked on a turn. I knew he was going to loose it. They can handle good, when driven correctly. Luckily we walked away too.

It's the car ahead of them. The people you see driving and talking are filming in the car chasing the one that will go off the road.

there was crash pics posted on s2ki and it was horribly scary to see the s2000 sitting there on it's roll bar flipped over. It's very hard ot believe that people walked out alive from it.

Yes it's very hard to break while cornering. It throws your balance way off. Always break before entering a turn.

did you notice the way the girl says "Oh my God" sounds like the same way she would say "Oh my God" if she found a run in her stockings?

Didn't look like he turned his wheels to recover the back end. Sucks that it happened though.

can't believe S2000 overturned so easily. it didn't seem like he was racing or even going crazy at all !! This is the second video where S2000 crashed at a turn when it's supposed to be made to play the turns !! The other one was at a track. mmm....makes you wonder the handling of the car.....

Huh? Because a couple of idiots make mistakes, the car's handling sucks?
At least the roll bars worked. That would be scary as **** rolling over in a convertable.

Even professionals sometimes roll. If the tires hook onto something that not smooth (like soft grass) then you're going for a very scary ride. I rolled before in a hardtop, the car spun and as soon as it left the road, it went into the grass, the tires dug into the soft grass/ground and the car flipped.

the s2000 handles very great but it is a very easy car to loose the back end esp if your on the stock S0-2's and they are cold, the thing is you have to have a driver the knows to drive the car very well and even the best of them screw up every once and a while. Driver is the number one thing in a cars handling equation.

no man on the second video which was taped at a Japanese track it 's a professional testing the car, not an idiot. He wasn't even driving it hard - you see the small cam of his foot placement on the pedals, just making a casual turn, and he skidded right into the grass as he screamed out for his life some Japanese praising it sounded like : ohhh... oh ...sini****ka or something like that
I have the video on my hard drive "Best_Motoring-Honda_S2000_crash[1].mpeg" but I forgot where I downloaded it, anyone ?

yup seen the best motoring crash, he lifted off the throttle when he shouldn't have. He turned in and came right off the throttle when he should've stayed on some to keep the car balanced going into the curve, him lifting off caused his rear end to come around. You really have to have confidence in the car to stay on it in a time like that and new driver who's never driven that car wouldn't have that yet.
I've had plenty of seat time in the s2k and can tell you that with the right driver the car handles like a dream but it's not very forgiving to mistakes. One of the most fun cars i've ever driven but it takes a while to learn where the limits are and where you can push it and where you can't. If you ever get a chance to take one around a road course at a driving school or something, take it, it's an absolute joy to drive around the track but don't get caught entering a long and pretty sharp curve at under 6 grand and have vtec kick while you accelerate out too early :D , it's not as easy to catch like when a celica hits 6k.
