1ZZ PowerFC:
I know for certain it works for MRS, and according to www.monkeywrenchracing it works for Celica GT. But the 1ZZ engine is also in corolla and I think in Pontiac Vibe and Matrix will it work for them? Or is ECU harness different for them?

2ZZ PowerFC:
I know for certain it works got the Celica GT-S. But does it work for the Matrix or Lotus or whatever that uses 2ZZ engine?

Also on the Datalogit, the modual looks the same between cars. I saw one for the MR2 turbo and the 1ZZ (mine) it looks very similar I wonder if the hardware is the same, if it is then that would be great news all I need is to find a MR2 turbo software and get a MR2 turbo PowerFC for it and I can save me cr@ploads of money (well around $200~$350 :gap: )

I just thought this would be a good question to ask, hopefully we can get a definate answer :)

wont work on corolla, matrix or vibe since the harness are different but if some one made a conversion harness it would.
something like the unichip harness but one end the matrix/corrolla one and the other the celica/power fc one

and maybe it wont on the lotus but would be cool if it did.

custom harness.... should not be too hard to make right? I do see potential market on this if someone know how to make custom harness.... Now if Unichip sells their harness adaptor individually then I think this may work, either use a Matrix harness on the PowerFC for Matrix car or the Celica harness on a Matrix car. I am sure they only make 1 type of connection on Unichip unit itself, the adaptor is the one that is different between cars.

it a lotus ecu so i'm sure it wont. allyou need to know is what wire is what and get a celica harness. then you're set :)

im sure the hardware is the same for connecting the PFC to a laptop...and the datalogit software can do both the 1ZZ and 2ZZ. as for turbo...that dosent matter...imagine this, a grid thats 20 X 20...you got numbers going down and across...each box going across is calibrated for 500 RPM's and the boxes going down are calibrated for engine load....N/A cars ony go down to about box 13. where my car had to have load row re calibrated because created much more load...I went way below 20....

But wouldn't the harness, the wiring and the sensors be the same?

sensors - should be the same
wiring - should be the same
harness - prolly not. it is after all a lotus ecu. even the matrix/vibe are different.
