gtg every fri-sat

this was posted on vwvortex.com and i'm thinking of going.. it'd be awesome if some of you would want to meet up or something at mason and roll out to this meet..

it's a decent drive because this is out in fredericksburg, but i figure if some other people agree to go with me, it'll be fun.. real fun..

here's all the info from vwvortex.. the local cops hold a gtg/show every friday an saturday night in a local commuter parkin lot from 8-12. a local car club pres picks out a 'car of the nite' award long with a trophy. theres all types of cars and trucks there with alot of street bikes all chromed and strecthed out there as well. not many celicas so we should represent..


Directions:
from the north go 95 south to the massaponex exit,take a left at the light off the ramp.thats rt 1 north go 2 lights to hood dr,make a left on hood dr,the streets only 1/4 mile long.at the lightstay straight,the lot is on your left. from the south take the same exit towards fredericksburg an follow the same directions.

now according to the local witnesses this is huge, they've seen a max turnout of 300 cars one friday night, and i'd love to spend an evening there just ooogling the cars.. i goto metro just to check out the cars there, well, this is all legal, thus, deserves an appearance from this crowd.. anyone wants to tag along either this fri or next? i'm thinking i'll go this fri, if its awesome, i'll probably go next as well.. so who is in?

i'm serious, this is huge, over 100 cars every fri and sat. for sure, so why don't we make an apperance.. tell me what's best for you if you are interested.. fri or sat.??? its only 1 hour to drive, which won't be that bad once we are all in a pact and going down 95 with a little breeze through the windows and our exhausts all racing.. hehe.. i love driving with a pack of people.. well, here's the post on vortex.. if you don't believe me, read it on their forum..

alright, here's the plan, just tell me if you are up for it.. sat night.. 3/23 **changing the date to 3/30** if it is not raining or snowing (you never know in va) we can meet up at lot "J" at George Mason at 6pm and leave by 6:30pm and all drive down to Fredericksburg.. I know I'm meeting cruzerz there because he is actually driving up north.. so who is in and who is out? i want to know!!

Hey guys i live here in fredericksburg. I think i am one of the only celica's in town but it would be really cool if you came down to the lot. It's pretty cool it was really hard for us to get to use the lot and we got kicked out of the one we had last year. So we chose a new lot a little more secluded so people wouldnt complain about the music and exhaust. But if anyone is coming down give me a call we can all meet up and go get some food or something. well, i'm going for sure, i just want to check the scene out.. and by the looks of it, there's no rain, just a bit chilly.. so i'll be dressing warm.. i really don't mind the drive, but as well all know, a little caravan of cars is always fun.. by the looks of it, the people that want to go aren't sure yet, but let me know if you all want to meet up somewhere for the drive.. if not then you all are bammas!! :) or just plain old (beth) j/k

well guys. looks like i won't be going this weekend. I got a set of bad coilovers that I have to send back, so my alignment is all f$%ed up and I'm going to wait until I get a new set of coilovers before I get another alignement done. Fredericksburg is just too far of a drive for me on a bad alignment. If they are held every friday and saturday night, i'll probably end up going one of these days/months/years. Thanks for the invites though.....

I went to that GTG on fredericksburg tonight, and I am hoping it was because it was cold there were maybe 15 to 20 cars and nothing to brag about i will tryi again tomorow. we will see

you probably right, and next friday sounds like a plan and when you here about a bunch of people getting together for the same love you get hyped and you willing to check it out regardless of weather, i am shooting for next fri because i will be in NY next sat for a car show "import showcase tour" not in it but checking it out nah mean. but when i drive threw i will represent (NEWCELICA.ORG) as hard as I can.
