i was wondering if any of you have KillerM's torque brace installed, and if you guys liked/disliked it. I haven't seen any recent post about these braces (is he still selling them?). Are there any other aftermarket companies that make these for the celica? Also, I cant decide whether to get the torque brace, or the ES MM, or both. I want to make my shifting smoother and eliminate wheel hop. also, i want MINIMAL vibration in the cabin b/c i dont think i can stand too much vibration. My car is a daily driver and the vibration would annoy the heck outta me. :crazy2:

I have both front and rear es mounts... and it vibrates the steering wheel a bit, used to bother me the first few days... now I don't really notice.
what you will notice, mostly driving with the windows up, is the keys rattling against the column.. that's annoying, but fixable.

as far as the performance... worth every penny and the p.i.t.a. install

i think if i go with the ES MM inserts i'd just install the front one. I hear that when both of them are installed the vibrations are a bit much.

If i get the torque brace, would it be overkill if i also get the ES MM inserts since they are both suppose to reduce engine flex anyways?

basically this link over at clubrsx sparked my interest about torque braces, the one they are showing there claims to actually reduce cabin vibration while still delievering the benefits of a regular torque brace or engine mount insert. Wonder if any other companys make these for our cars.

Brashboy makes one... it's like a shock/strut design that bolts onto your right engine mount to your radiator support.

I had the es motor mounts in my Matrix and removed them cause they shook the car so much. I just bought an hpi universal maxeng damper for my car, just havent figured out where and when I'll mount it. I have an 04 which has certain emissions crap in the way to be able to mount it conventionaly (for a Matrix).

I got the 172 mm one, you guys could probably get the 320mm one and mount it like the brashboy damper. I got it thru taka kaira 264 shipped from japan, only took a week. I like the looks of it better than the brashboy one, and it is a really, really fine piece.
