Hey,

I'm looking at buying a some sway bars. I won't be doing any serious racing just looking for a fun street car with the occasional AutoX event. The sways will be on a car with tein SS'.

I'm looking at either spending $125.000 on an ST rear sway or $250 on Hotchkis front and rear sways.

I realize that obvously the hotchkis front and rears would perform better. But how much more performance is provided by having the hotchkis front sway? Is the oversteer going to be $125 worse with the stock front sway?

I don't want my ass end swinging around unperdictably. So would the sole ST rear sway be to stiff for the softer stock front?

Thanks .
Aaron.

Actually, the oversteer from just a rear bar will help the rear end rotate easier for tight turns autox, which is why Hotchkis makes a separate autox bar (same as their rear Competition bar, but marked up). The car won't be unpredictable at all unless you slam on the brakes or let off the gas completely in the middle of a turn. The Hotchkis front bar would probably only benefit autox in the slalom section, since the bar makes the front end more stable on left-right maneuvers.

does anyone know if the hotchkis competition sways are like in street driving conditions?
