hi, i have an corolla Tsport. powered by 2zzge.
i just recently bought a TTE (TRD in Europe) coilovers for my Corolla E12 (ZZ123).

i just wanna ask, how do i know if my damper or the same coilovers is damage or is dead??

actually i heard some strange sound with the coilovers, when i'm in movement...and another time i heard an horrible sound in some side of the car (left-right). but it just fixed sometime when i tighten the strut....

but it still have a strange sound.
HOW I COULD KNOW IF MY DAMPER OR THE SAME COILOVERS IS DAMAGED OR DEAD??

*hear a very strange sound the i turn the steering wheel in movement.

thanks

take the wheel off of the corner where you hear the noise, make sure the inside of the coil isn't rubbing against the outside of the struts

I don't see noise dampening rubber on the ends of the springs in that picture.... let me guess, the noise happens whenever your springs are at maximum travel height like right after you hit a bump in the road?

yesterday take off the wheel...and the rotor seems to be very loose.. it is normal that??

should the rotor be very tight in the position>??

I would say just take the wheel off and go in there and tighten everything up make sure everything is tight. when i installed my springs i had a weird noise when i hit bumps and it just ended up that i didnt tighten everything up enough.
