thanks for the look out mica
but doesnt 525USD shipped seem a bit expensive?
GroupBuy had said the Rotoras were 200USD shipped for 4 discs

from what i can see, he is inclusing stainless-steel brake lines, an fluid

StopTech is a bit more expensive than Rotora..

what justifies such a difference in price

I have the Rotora slotted rotors, they still rust. But I think I got them for the same or slighty cheaper than what OEM would cost.

I can get you Brembo Sport Slotted Rotors for 473.00 shipped if your interested. These are cadmium coated so you should not have to worry about any rusting issues.

If your interested in Rotora I can do them as well, the pricing would be 342.00 shipped to your door for those. The Rotoras are zinc plated and should resist rust alot better then OEM.

Mind you these are both quoted for a GTS since I noticed you mention 4 wheel disc, though your sig says you have a GT.

Shoot me a PM if your interested.

can those rotor fit stock GT-S 16" wheels? or I would need bigger wheels to go with them?

There stock sized rotors so theyd work fine with 16" wheels.

I got my stoptech stage II brake upgrade from Vitek at Kozz Tuning. It included 4 slotted rotors with rustproof coating, ss braided brake lines, axxis ultimate pads and motul dot4 brake fluid. Definatly one of the best mods I've done to my car. I can stop so quick it makes me carsick. Vitek is a great guy to deal with as well so I highly recommend purchasing from him.

I'm about to step-up to 19"s and I'm curious what you have to offer that is still on the "cheap", but top of the line. (Can't I have both?) :bs:

Well you can still use stock rotors if you'd like but if you've got the $$ and want to step up to a big brake kit I can get them from Rotora, Brembo, AEM (big rotor).

Check ebay, I found a set of cross drilled and slotted Brembo rotors for 215 shipped

FYI Brembo doesnt offer Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors, they offer Cross Drilled OR Slotted Rotors. If they are selling them as CD and SL then they are actually Brembo blank discs that have been done or another brand relabled as Brembo.

Does anyone have the TRD big brake kit? I was wondering if its just the front rotors and calipers like everyone else (AEM, Stoptech) seems to be doing. Also, if someone does how do they like'em?

You can't go wrong with Stoptech. IIRC the TRD BBK is just a rebranded Stoptech kit. And if it's just the front calipers, it's like that for a reason :)

After reading the article you linked to, all that hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew that, but never thought about it. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
This forum is a cornacopia of information.

If you can lock the tires you already have enough braking power... SS lines will make things feel better (I have em) but your overall stopping distance has not decreased that much if at all with those mods.. but having better braking feel (which you almost certainly do) will definitely help you drive the car hard.

I just don't want anyone to think they can do 60-0 in 3 inches just because they upgraded their brakes when they're still on all season tires.
