I just got my car inspected today, and I was walking around while they had it up on a lift to try to see if I could find what was rattling in the back. I know many of you have complained about the rattling, and this may be your source.

Jack your car up and check the endlinks on your rear swaybar. Check all of them (they are close to the wheel) If that is your rattle you will know right away, because you can hear it immediately by moving the very left or right side of your rear swaybar up and down.

The symptoms of my car were that it only made this noise when I hit bumps, but if the car was sitting still, and I pushed down on the back of it, the noise would not be made. If any of you hear a LOUD a$$ rattle, you may want to check out those links at the ends of the rear swaybar.

Anybody that has an aftermarket swaybar (like me) is probably more prone to this shiet, simply due to more stress. I am gonna talk to dave and hopefully see what a price on those little things are, because I dont want a problem with my car when i take a bend to quickly :) if you have an aftermarket swaybar, I highly reccommend you check this links.

lol, good luck with that GTSlaid. Just be on the lookout for that after you get it installed. I really drive mine hard in the corners, so it could just be my car, but I find that hard to believe.

I'll check that, but I think I located another rattle in the rear. Mine was a plasticy interior rattle coming from the what sounded like right around the seatbelt area of the rear passenger side.

If you pull off the back plastic pieces (the rear middle and rear right), you can look behind the remaining plastic piece that is the armrest for the rear passenger. Along the wiring that comes to the trunk light, you will see a white electrical clip/harness as if there was another option that could be plugged in there. This little harness was just free floating and was smacking against the plastic interior....hence the plastic rattle.

Dunno if I fixed it or not, just another possibility.

mine makes a squeeky noise. i cant tell wTF its coming from. it sounds like its right next to me. like weirds squeeks like metal. its only when i am highway driving. its so ****in annoying you have no idea. especially on like a 3 hours trip. i had my bro in the car, he said he heard it like int he foot well in the passenger seat area. i am afraid its my cusco bar? but i am wondering if that wer ethe noise would i hear it from in the car going 90+ mph? ......i am paranoid its gonna come flying off, and i and gonna loose suspension arms scraping the ground, have no control over the car and wreck...................maybe i am just crazy.

Just get the car on a lift or jackstands and go under there and pull on some of your suspension parts. I had a similar metal squeaking sound in the rear, and it was that connector at the end of the swaybar. Thanx for that oter piece of info clone, I will check that out too.
