Hey, I posted a question about rear brake conversion earlier this week..

i have one more question about the Brembo Sport Brake Systems...

http://www.buybrakes.com/store/RD00039

check this site out..

This is a drilled brembo disk rotors just for approximately 250..

And it says that it is made to fit perfectly for Celica GT...

but my question is... we still need to do a brake conversion before installing this right?

You can't just replace the GT stock drum brakes with this brembo brake rotors?

correct?

Sorry - - i am really beginer with this car mechanic stuff

Please help

try ebay, I found a set of front and rear cross-drilled and slotted rotors for only $215 shipped. I highly recommend just getting slotted if you are a fast driver due to the structural loss cause by cross-drills. I didn't know better when I baught them. Just in my IMO though

Not sure where you got 250 from, the price is 210 and it includes shipping. You never know what your getting from Ebay.

On the other hand though I dont see how its possible that a rear Rotor is listed for the GT because I know its not a conversion. I think its a mistake.

FYI, I actually work with buybrakes.com and I have the Brembo catalog in front of me, I just checked and its the same print in the catalog. It shows that part as a rear rotor for the GT, must be a mistake on Brembo's part.

Dunno... AEM has a rear disc brake conversion kit for the Civic's equipped with drums in the rear tho.
