Hey everyone I have a 2000 Spectra Blue GTS with roughly 47k miles on it for sale. Its got a good number of mods I will try to list all right now, its a six speed tranny also. Hey thanks for the constructive posts... 18k or best offer is what I said. But of course you would rather be worthless and just flame a post with useless comments. The reason I am selling the car is because I want something new, I am considering doing a 240 with an SR swap or a WRX or something but I need to sell this car first. Please leave the worthless posts out. Sirk if I remember correctly youre one of the kings of useless posts so why dont you just pack your GT up and post elsewhere.

Well you might wanna check the blue book value of your car first. THEN tach on a lil bit on top if you decide on selling your car as is. Your better off parting most of it out and selling for a lil higher than blue book but if you're geniunely trying to sell your car then 18k OBO is wayy off. Try 13kOBO. Tis the sad fact about the car and the perception of a car's depreciation with the addition of aftermarket mods.

Consider this constructive criticism but in time when you do not find a buyer at 18K 0B0, 17K 0B0, 15K 0B0, 13K0B0, and most likely 12K 0B0, you will awakened to the harsh reality of selling a modded Celica.

I plugged in your numbers and listed your car as in excellent shape when using the blue book value, this was what I got back: $12,615. This was after checking of every bit of available upgrade from Toyota (giving you the benefit) and listing your car as being in flawless excellent condition.

Of course this is just the perceived value if selling it as a private owner. Trading it in would be about another slash of over $1,000 when trading it in to a dealer.


So ya.. $12,615 is a nice stretch from $18K and if you didnt know already....hardly do you find a buyer willing to throw an extra $3k at you to reimburse you for your parts.
Sad choice might be to part out and sell or just be a realist and start at $13,500k considering your car has being modded.

BTW - shaved parts on a car seriously is perceived as depreciating more increaing the value of the car

I have seen celicas very similar to mine with more miles go for 16 recently however I do appreciate the input. At least your posts many are worthwhile and not just "BWAHHHAHAAH" and other useless posts you can just close this post if you want its got a lot of useless posts in it. I was estimating my low end at 16 with everything that includes sparcos, wheels, and a kam kit fully painted you said to look for 13.5 I would assume those might pull close to the other 2k or so if I parted out. I dont know thanks for the input either way.
