=( I'll be without the mr2 for a few weeks and driving my beater, an '86 silver astro van =P i have a feeling i wont be racing much hehe. I just know i will pull up to 1000 ricers in my van though, JUST because im not in the mr2.
and what the hell is up with people in KS? Today, i couldnt get a brand new Cobra to race, or an old porsche... i lined up with them both and i couldnt even get a glance out of either of them??!?! And then later, a riced out civic revved on me, but i know if i had of come to a light and the lane next to me was open, he would get behind me instead just like ALL the rice around here. Are my numbers from the track just THAT intimidating or what?
Oh well, I'll move my targets up to REAL sports cars after this upgrade... dont know exactly what those will be, but im sure i will find out. Turbo w/ 50trim from turbonetics, S-AFC, and downpipe... should have around 235rwhp and be able to get the 1/4 in 13.4-13.5 (i hope), that is if the clutch doesnt snap in half =P Then if i decide to i can get upgraded intercooler and VPC and get it down to 13.1... dont know if ill do that tho. My goal is 12.9, hopefully with the new mods (13.4 mods) i can slap on a stutter box and some slicks and get 12.9. Once i am there, i can start to get on the suspension in preparation of AutoX'ing this march i believe it starts.

your car sounds pretty good, but13.9 intimidating ha ha!I think its the other people just suck.if you ran a 13 over in my hood you would get smoked there is alot of v8 and v10 in the valley

im not hating on celicas **** when i had my talon all raced out i could rip alot of v8s but not not heavy mods so i got a 2000 gts.I was talking **** just saying there is lots faster than 13

so you are hating on MR2 turbos? I know there are a lot of cars faster than 13's, but there certainly arent very many at my track other than drag cars... and on the street there is mostly rice and the fast cars are driven by old people or people who just dont want to race. Hmm, so you had a talon and you ripped apart v8's huh? so why did you go to the celica? If i had a car that could run 12's i certainly wouldnt get rid of it for a mid-high 14 second car...

come on get a clue i dont what car is what if it is fast.and the reason i got a new car was i invested alot and the car was getting old and iwas gonna have to buy a new turbo and rebuild.the reason i picked a celica was talons w/out turbo are only like 120 horses and the turbo makes it 210 now and a turbo to 180 and 5 gears to six you do the math genius!easy choice.and also i didnt get rid of it it needs repairs

hondahater, dont even talk to me like you know more about turbo charged cars than me. What do you think is going to happen to those 180 horses when you reduce the c/r from 11:1 IF you want to put a turbo on there? You could have rebuilt the turbo and the whole ****ing engine in the DSM for a quarter the cost of a new celica. Do you think it will cost less than $5000 for a turbo kit for the GTS? You need pistons, turbo, exhaust manifold, retune the whole fuel compter... i could go on and on with how much work it takes to turbocharge a n/a vehicle when it doesnt have a specific kit like Greddy puts out. No wonder you have honda in your name because you sound like every other hyped up ricer who thinks his car is fast that i have spoken to. I do have a clue, you need to get one.
