I was wonder were you can go to get a CEL read for FREE.

Autozone should still do that. Maybe even Pep Boys if you ask nicely. ;)

or just buy a Actron Auto Scanner for 50 bucks.....it pulls the info right for the stock computer, can even shut the light off

Yup Bluebomer is right, Autozones should be able to read it. You should check first cuz in my area, SOME want you to drop them a deposite for an OBD II reader to do it yourself. I guess they're lazy to even check the code for you.

I go to autozone anytime I have a CEL, they never mind checking it.
