My friend's friend is doing it for me for $750.

Full Kaminari kit, 3 Piece Race Wing, Hoodscoop and Fix dent on door and repaint.

I was told that was a excellent price, plus he does very good work.

It's all about quality vs. price. The more you pay the better the work 90% of the time.

So cheaper isn't necessarily better.

I wish I had gone to a different place and paid more.

how much would paint just cost??.. my dads friend paints old cars so i dont have to pay for the paint job... i just have to provide the paint.. i only need enough to cover some headlight covers.. the RMM kit and a hoodscoop.. my car is black so i assume its a pretty easy color to obtain for cheap... thanks guys..

I am going to be paying about $500. Kit is already been put on by R2 AutoDesign in Walnut CA. Price includes paint, and fitting of kit. Just a few spots aren't perfect. Also having my passenger side realligned. Got T-boned, and door is a little crooked. ;)

I think it's just where you guys got it done. They painted and installed the kit and the wing for $500. Also it was done by the Toyota Dealers body shop. So I think you two got screwed paying $1000.

jeezus! I know my friend hooks me up, but I didn't know how well. Quality isn't the issue either, he uses PPG paint and took a week to make sure everything was prepped and dried properly -- his work has also been seen on several feature cars in Super Street and Turbo magazines. It's all about who you know in this scene.

I can't believe how much some of you are paying. Hoo boy. :(
