Yeah I was wondering this, too....

Especially for the rims with strange offsets (i.e. G-Games with +42mm)....will this be a problem? Would wheel spacers solve it if there was a problem, and what size spacers front and back?

I have sort of an answer. I have 225/40/18 on my car with a 35mm offset. At the beginning it was rubbing on the rear only because I was on stock shocks (cant make them stiffer) and that was only when i went over big dips or large bumps. Now it doesnt rub even, prolly cuz I rose the car up a bit. My drop is in my sig. I have ground controls with stock shocks.

I got my wheels this weekend from a guy in MD (thanks Dennis)...He said he never had a problem with the fitment but I'm not sure how low his car was....

I will find out within two weeks, I'm waiting for my TEIN SS, then I'll have the rims and suspension put on.

Here are the pics: 18x7.5 VR TE-37's | Bridgestone Potenza S-03 225/40/ZR18

You're welcome. Glad you like the rims and tires. you can fly in the rain with those bad boys. I had my car pretty low when I first put them on and they rubbed a little, but after raising it up so there was about a 3-finger-gap it was fine.

Have fun with them. And my friends got a kick out of the credit card thing--:gap:

you don't need 225 tires to begin with. play it safe and order 215's if you are even a little worried. i know TE's have a 30mm offset so it pushes it out more :)

you'll be ok. Just try to stay in the proper offset area. I have 225/40/18 tires on my volks with +37 offset and it fits fine. At first, one of my rear tires rubbed but that was due to stock struts going out. Now, they are ok.

I have 225/40/18 with +35 offset and Hotchkis springs. No rubbing at all.
