Auto.. Bouncing Off Redline?

IS IT BAD TO BOUNCE OFF REDLINE IN GTS AUTO IN SS MODE? i'VE DONE IT A COUPLE OF TIMES. SOMETIMES IT RISES SO QUICK IN THE SECOND CAM AND IT BOUNCES:AF: :AF:

yeah ive noticed it stalls like a second after u hit the "up" button.. so mine will go up that high too.. plus this is a dumb question but can these autos even hit lift??? i really havent had a good chance to really push my car.. but yeah is that bouncing bad??

Yes, the autos can hit lift. You feel it more with an exhaust though.

ehhh i can lift in all the gears.. i have the auto gts.. I usually let go off the gas and press the [up] rite at 7.6k or 7.8k and it doenst bounce much of the redline..

i bounce off it almost every day since i hit 1000 miles on the odo. it's impossible not to if you're trying to get every rpm out of it :D

25k miles, no problems.

(if you brush off the rev limiter just barely on shifts, you land higher by 50-100rpm)

yep...I hit lift last night going 100 mph, strange rush but fun....=)

I do that all the time, and yes i have hit lift in all gears but fourth.

thanks for the replies guys. I guess it's not that bad to bounce of the rev limiter, that's why its there i guess to limit you. It just sounds so lound when it bounces. I have never hit lift in 4th just because i've never tried to go that fast:)
