the seats didnt come in leather till 02.... or else i woulda had em ;)

They did come in leather from '00-'01, it's just that they were in tan leather.

I'm curious but do the brackets on the stock Spyder seats bolt right in on the Celica?

NO. The brackets have to be cut off of the tracks and rewelded on to the other seat. I have a set of celica leathers in my spdyer.

Shucks! I was hoping to find a cheap and easy untapped resource of black leather seats! Thanks for the info LR.
