i tried searching (tho relatively quickly)... when does the gt-s switch to the more aggressive cam profile? i know i've read when it exactly occurs but cant recall what rpm it happened at. something makes me think its at 5800.

I thought that was right. Someone was arguing that my 00 didn't hit lift until 6200 but when I'm driving it seemed earlier.....

I think it varies....my '00 hits at 6200 instead of 6000.

Everytime I read about lift in the forums I gotta fight the urge to go out and run the Celie. Is it official? Do I have Liftitis? :D

that's a cool pic in your sig p40. man i can't wait to switch my ecu! i have an 02 thus highest possible lift engagement and lowest possible fuel cutoff....what a sh!tty fu<king combo!:furious: i got a 2000 ecu, just need to pick up the knock sensor and connector wire. oh to always land lift on the first to second shift:burnout:

EasyC has an '00 GT-S, but his lift kicks in at '00 (dyno proven). There are at least two different '00 GT-S 6 speed ECUs: 89666-20080 and 89666-20081. My lift kicks in at 6000.
