Hey everybody,

as some of you guys might already know, my engine is repaired and running as new again. :)

c2gas took his time with two friends of him and visited me (1200km !!!) to help me fixing my car. He organised parts and helped me with everything to get my car running again. I was only charged for the parts...so this is what I call customer care!!! Can't imagine something like this on any other dealer.

It took us 5hours to get the engine out, take it apart completely and get parts of the old engine together with parts of a new (used) engine and put it back into the car. Awesome fast.
It took another one day and a half to get it all done, which is also very fast.

Gas is pretty experienced with our engines and knows every screw by hard...awesome work man! Really.

It's fixed since a week and a half now and I've only driven about 300km since then. Right now the car is at rueddel-motorsport to get my egt and ot sensor weld in their places. EGT will be welded in the downpipe, right after the turbo and OT will be welded into the oil pan.

Hope it's interesting news for anyone. :) Asha 's pretty happy again. Hehe...

I'd recommend puting the EGT before the turbo, 2-4" from the head. More accurate and useful info.

Hey Matt,

yes I absolutely agree with you. But the only reason I'm not putting it there is, that I don't want to damage the expensive manifold by adding another weak point to it. :(

i dont understand this sentence how will it be close? i mean you have a gts and asha a gt. you has a bigger turbo, so why do you say it will be a close race?

I was careful. :) Hehe ... a water line hit the downpipe (now it's replaced by some steel braided line and every other important line is steel braided now too) and I did push it.

No water -> pushing the car -> running 12:1 -> not good. :(

@Smaay: I will put it on a dyno after the new engine is breaked in.
I will be happy with around 230whp at 0.9 Bar@>6000rpm since I'm running a small Turbo and my exhaust system is stock and has a lot of backpressure.
