Update for the Big April 20th Meet

Hi all,
As the next meet draws closer and closer, I'd like to start making a list of what everyone is bringing to the meet for the cookout. We already have burgers, hot dogs, and the hot dog buns taken care of.

What we still need are:
Chips, cupcakes / cookies, condiments, napkins, paper plates, sodas, hamburger buns, ice, and coolers to hold the ice. If you would like to bring something that I have not listed just let me know.

I'm expecting lots of replies from all the DCM7thGen folks!!! :D

I have two decent sized bags of charcoal and am getting a 3rd large bag tommorrow. I also have enough lighter fluid to choke a horse. I also got wood chips for flavor ;)

It's a nice thing when your g/f parents are moving and you get the neat stuff they dont want anymore.

umm.. do you still need the cooler for the ice and the cans of sodas? i manage an ice cream shop, so if someone has a jeep or anything of that sort and is willing to come meet me that morning, i'll load up a huge soda bottle looking cooler in their trunk and we can bring it to lake fairfax.. My shop is right in Reston so its not a far drive at all, lol, like 5 min.. any takers?! I do have another regular cooler in the store, but I doubt its anywhere big enough to hold enough ice for 100-200 people..

The coke bottle is awesome though.. hehe.. we take it out during "Taste of the Town" and sometimes the summer saturday concerts and such..

Eric, as you have not responded yet, I am marking you down for 2 cases of soda (48 cans). Get something that everyone will drink.

If we put something in the brownies, then we'll need more food, so unless you are willing to bring all the extra food, I think normal brownies will work fine. :)

Prinya, you need to post a list of everyone coming and who is bringing stuff and who isnt, so we can bust on the people not bringing stuff. Many of the non DCM memebers may not know. Send them an email if that is the case.

Carrie, John - 8 packs of soda , 1 bag charcoal, lighter fluid

Liz - All hot dog buns

Prinya - Burger buns and hot dogs

Rod(eclipse) - 60 cupcakes

Jake - Hamburgers, 3 bags of charcoal

Drew - 48 cans of sodas

Eric (Xyrcpncp) - 48 cans of soda

IRCGTS & JIM (2000 XYR) - Coke bottle Cooler

Ron Wulff - 2 bags of chips, 2 boxes of cookies

Beth - 50 lb. bag of chips

Well, tomatos are just too much trouble for the hassle. If that alot of ppl want lettuce though, I'll pick up a head or two before the meet. :)

I know, I know. I was just trying to think of what I usually see at cookouts. I might pick up some Popeye's or something. Last year when we met there I brought a box of Popeye's. :D And still gave money to the MR2 people for burgers. I'm so good! ;)
