Hey everyone,

This may sound stupid, but how do you know if your celica is the 1zz engine or 2zz engine. Is GT-S 1zz and GT 2zz?

Also, I have a '00 Celica GT-S and I'm wondering which denso iridium spark plugs to get. IK20 or IK16? Are there different brands?

Thanks all and forgive me for my stupidity.

and ik16 are stock. ik20 are just a slight better spark. it literally adds about .7 HP. Not even ONE HP so It is not worth the extra few dollars for them I think.

also check the rpm, if it will rev to 8000+ you got a gt-s, if it stops well before 8000rpm, and theres not add'd power at 6000k. its a gt. there a ton of thing that you can tell if its a gt or a gt-s.

How about the two simplest ones.

Check the back and see if it says GTS or GT.

Check teh Valve Cover

VVTI OR VVTLI

Oh yeah, :moved:. ;)

It may cause a misfire if he gets them too cold. You need to have a certain amount of heat to burn everything properly. You can't have cold fusion in your car yet :D
